Hmm one further thought - having a weapon listed for target shooting can be a red-herring. Some F.O.'s will approve one weapon to be used for re-enactment (blank) firing, and not for target shooting, or the opposite, or ay over the one weapon to be used in both capacities, or in extremis could insis...

Well up to now, I've been training, using both a hand and a half medievel, and a saxon/vike sword for the same purpose, so I think I have handling different weights and fees covered, however, I would still like to know "what" I can and can't do when I am using "the correct" sword...

The question is still valid, but I suspect that Phil was asking on my behalf. I was looking at Hangers, back blades, not a specific model, as it was going to be tempered very much by availabilty. I've gone and ordered myself an Armourclass Tower hanger, and in the meantime, am aquiring a non-period ...
