WTT: Historic Enterprises Arming Doublet
Bit of a long shot, but I have a Historic Enterprises arming doublet, good condition, in a Large size which is too big for me. Looking to trade it for a similar condition HE arming doublet in a Small or possibly Medium.

Re: WANTED - "flat top" 16th century breastplate and sturmhaube
I don’t have a sturmhaube for sale, but I have owned ones from Armoury Marek and Ryall Armouries. Both very good. The Armoury Marek one is very reasonably priced, but more generic. May be worth looking at, if no second hand ones come up.

Hi, how long is the sword? Is there any rattle in the cross or handle?
How much would postage be?
Many thanks,
Mark

Sold! - Riveted mail hauberk
Stainless steel riveted (round ring, round rivet) hauberk for sale. Very good condition, and well made (well set rivets) with slight tailoring (back slightly wider, and tailored under arms). Very sturdy and robust, and won't rust. Circumference across the chest is 52", so would fit around a 46" ches...

Ok, thanks. I will measure up against my existing hauberk when I get home this evening, to see if it is of a similar size.
Many thanks,

Re: FOR SALE: GDFB 6mm maille long sleeved hauberk
Hi, what chest size would this fit?
Could you let me know the measurement across the chest when laid out on the floor, and the measurement from shoulder to bottom of the hauberk please.
Is the coif and spare links included in the price?
If it fits me, I am interested.
Kind regards,
Mark

Re: 'Off the shelf' swords?
For a true "off the shelf" sword, then Armour Class are very good.
If you are lucky you might find a Paul Binns sword in stock, but I don't believe Paul is taking orders just yet until he has caught up.

Re: Bollock dagger
Or make your own! Tod sells the blades, just whittle a handle and have your own unique dagger. I second SirUlf's suggestion (having seen his nice example that he made). Buying the blade from Tod means you know you have a good quality blade that is going to last, and you end up with a unique dagger ...

Re: wars of the roses period groups in Brighton area.
I belong to a group based at Arundel castle. Very friendly group, and varied events. Take a look at Raven-Tor.co.uk
I think there is still a Brighton based group as well, with a few members on this forum.

GDFB Arming Jacket
I was wondering if anyone has the GDFB arming jacket (the one with the arming points running down the arms), and their opinion on it. How thick is the padding? Is it thick enough to be used on its own and still offer a reasonable level of protection? I am intending to get a breastplate, arms, and po...
