Hvae heard at least two other recordings of the agincourt carol, one is sedate and the other on a Gift of Music cd, the male singer for the chorus sticks with the baseline notes but the woman is wailing all over the place, still I like that version too, am fed up of medieval songs being dominated by...

I like Tant ma'belis and ara lauzat one track nine grrrrrr memory bad, its more natural sounding than ensemble unicorns recording of carmina burana, also on naxos.
The touvere group in york do some splendid period music and sets, check out medievalminstrels....

I may have it somewhere girl a mate has one of my medieval discs grrr on him! the songs of carmina burana are from the benedictibeuren codex circa 1230 ish ad theres around 230 songs poems and speeches on several earthly and moral tales and ideals. Orff took 24 of the songs and pieced them together ...
