Start of the season and my 12ft white canvas patrol tent looks like it has had it- anywhere I can purchase a replacement canvas? all the other parts of the tent have been recently repaired.

Sadly no, Re-enactors markets don't tend to cater to this period and militaria fairs tend to focus on WW2.

1914-21 do WW1 combat re-enactment, we usually portray Russian and Austro-Hungarian but can do German for combat re-enactments

We stopped attending as a group after the great flood: We found it tiring and a lot of hard work and as for the unique micro- climate! I won't miss Kelmarsh, but I will miss Kirby Hall and Stoneleigh.

It is something we have been mulling over for some time- the problem is getting suitable guns- I believe that springfields bear a reasonable resemblance to the Russian muskets.
