Re: Bought anything from planettrading?

Much agreed, their stuff isn't perfectly accurate and it's a bit cheap and cheerful; we use it for kids to try on so it's pretty bomb proof (children have the ability to destroy most things) They're usually very pleasant and helpful and if they think you'll be buying in bulk or coming back again the...

Re: Horseplay

Hi Craig, (apologies for the mega length of reply but hopefully some of this will help) welcome to the world of squished toes, the perminent smell of manure and being broke :-) I kid. Horses are wonderful reenactment buddies but there are some biggies that go along with it -cost being a major - also...

Re: Sutlers Stores

Have a feeling they've 'gone under' twice..... My other half bought an ACW revolver replica nearly a year ago from them and waited.... and waited..... and waited and after several moans (and 6 months) at them (each time hearing 'hold up with distributor/manufacturer) he eventually got hold of them a...

Having worked at both TORM and ILHF I think you'd struggle. You would have to buy out the main markets in order to make it worth their while stopping and supporting a single main, as mentioned by others. Plus cover any cancellation charges levied to the organisers by venues, who contract these thing...

Just to join in, we get the usual... e.g. Mop "where's the castle?" You "well so see those bloody great stone walls....." mop "is that a real medieval baby - how do you look after a medieval baby?" You decline to respond as the only word you can think of is Duh! the old are the best- " isn't it good...

Just in answer to your thread referring to hourly payment. I'm taking this from the cross college pay scales that would dictate most University's and school's payout schemes. At the moment, most college follow an incremental and pay visiting workshop artists on the same scale as senior lecturers whi...

In that case - armed with that information - you can get hold of chivalry bookshelf and ask them what their license includes. That might help you dcide whether it's worth (or necessary) to request copyright from the current holders, LA depends what they've registered and 'reproductions' and whether ...

Hiya, that should see you right as you aren't claiming exclusive patent. Copyright's a b**ger and it all depends on age of the original and when the owner shuffled off the mortal coil! respective reference to original designers usually satisfies in these cases as you're not planing on taking over th...

Hiya, as far as my knowledge goes, copyright is a funny b**ger. The minute one creates something, it is the intelectual property of the creator, until siad creator gives away the rights. However, in the current state of the world and business, proof of ownership is needed. Copyright is dependent on t...
