Sillicus does some excellent and well researched authenti-painting at shows these days, and did all the banners for Britannia's Guildhall show this Summer, which were extremely striking and provoked a great deal of interest. You wouldn't guess he used to illustrate for certain...ahem... *specialist...

What I mean is - Retouching photos manually with gouache paint through a DeVilviss airbrush. When it worked properly you could spray a 1mm line with it!!!!!! Not Photoshop.

Thanks, the wood panel is only 9cm x 12cm. Nice and easy to control and quick to do, after you've mixed the pigments with your egg yoke!! :D :D :D :D

This was taken originally by Wayland or Mags, I edited the two top ropes of the Standard out and then put a filter on the image!! Weirdly enough the overcast sky on the Sunday has produced some excellent contrasting colours from the kit.
