Yes, that's the one I was thinking of. Preffer Nero though - I have a soft spot for dark bays he also has the refinement that my hairy wee lad is missing. Although if I was only allowed to hog him - what a difference that would make You are so not allowed to hog the boy...it would be against all th...

I have to say I agree with Tuppence - Sallie at Pippistrelle does lovely tack, including barding - she has done some for a number of destrier riders and they look beautiful!

PM me and i'll give you her number.

I'm joining the heritage seed library to get hold of some older varieties of veg but would like to do some research first. Can anyone reccomend some good...

Hi Sarah,

I have a spare head covering you can wear tomorrow in female kit. I'm sure we can also rustle up at the very least a coif for blokey kit.

I'll bring them along tomorrow if you need them.

I can't wait to see it. Not bothered about historic acuracy - just can't wait to see how they've brought the comic book to life! sin city was brilliant and the look of the 300 is encouraging......and I'm always partial to a bit of muscly male fighting...no lose situation!

Well you say not related but, his bedroom was decorated as if it was Napoleons campaign tent in Egypt. Also the hussar jacket he wore was used in the 1969 version of The Charge of the Light Brigade. But then you probably know that. as youve read his book! Have to say he was a big influence on me wa...

15th Century ladies belts

Hi there, I'm making a wide back fastening belt for my posh frock and wondered if anyone can give me some tips. I'm not sure whether to cover a piece of leather or just stiffen the belt with a few layers of material...I have a brass buckle and belt end to add on and want the belt end to hang correct...
