Re: Late 15th century ladies wear
15th Century is not a period I know much about. However, there is often little known about the ordinary people. Those surviving items tend to be from the upper class and paintings again are usually of the upper class. You need to think like someone living 6 hundred years ago. They will often think s...

Re: one place for everything re-enactment online hub
As always this sort of thing sounds like a really good idea. However, your biggest problem is getting people to recognise it as the place to go. My personal experience is not with the 1200's but reenactors are simialr through many periods. What is the aim of the group? If this is personal enjoyment such as live rol...

Re: Got Fest 7th and 8th September Ashton Court Bristol
Ah! Thanks for that. I have read the first book but never seen the series so have no idea what type of costume they have tried to create. I did find the book interesting but just not got around to reading any more of the series. Interesting concept, there must be a reasonable number of people wantin...

Re: Where can I put my sword?
You just need to find somewhere secure to store it at home.
Back of a cupboard where you can chain it to a wall?
In the loft fixed to a ceiling joist?
You just need to think about it a little.
