Invasion Kent in May will probably be the largest Napoleonic event in UK next year. Contact the Napoleonic Association for details.
Alothough not in UK, also consider visiting Viking Fight Week at Moesgaard, Denmark in the last week of July.

Correct, according to Danish law, it is a blunt weapon and you should have evidence that he has a blunt weapon collectors license before posting it. In my experience, an arming garment works best if properly fitted by the tailor. So I'd advise finding someone local or who will be at an event you are attending.
