hi i have found a few 14th recipes which use marrows,im pretty sure sqashes and marrows are a new world crop and wasnt introduced till mid 15th am i know im not wrong about there origin but if these recipes are using marrows does this mean they introduced earlier, or there is european species or are...

my youngest daughter has decided that her new dress for the coming season is going to be pink. igot her away from the idea of bright pink going for more dull pink. i was wondering how accurate this is for our period (early 14th C to mid 15th C) after all isnt pink just faded red? thanks for any help...
