Try these:- http://www.craft-supplies.co.uk/I haven't used them for a while but used to get all sorts. If you contact their other depot they can supply all sorts of sizes not just small blocks.

Are you using real 'wool russia braid' or a synthetic alternative? I can't see anything on there that real russia braid won't do! After all, that was what is was designed for.

I suppose it depends on where and what you play. The lute is usually quite quiet and the sackbutt usually - isn't. :) It's just not a combo that springs readily to mind. But it's your stage......

Personally I would cut down the number of Fonts and colours & sizes of fonts. Keeps it simple & clean
